Agricultural
Exports
Wesco
International was founded in Ellensburg, Washington, in 1973 and began
business by exporting premium Ellensburg Timothy hay for the racehorse
industry in Japan. Ellensburg Timothy hay continues to be one of our
most important products, but in the ensuing years we have added alfalfa
hay, alfalfa hay cubes, orchard grass hay, orchard grass straw, ryegrass
straw, fescue straw, oat hay, oat straw, oats, beet pulp, specialty
seeds, fresh onions, fresh potatoes, and other fresh and processed
food and feedstuffs.
Wesco continues to deal exclusively in exports. Our biggest market
is Japan, but we also regularly supply customers in Korea, Taiwan,
and Hong Kong.
